JBL 2500 speakers in reclaimed wood

These are the a rebirth of the highly acclaimed JBL 2500 stereo speakers from the 1980s with some improvements. The 5" drivers and crossover circuit are made in the USA JBL components. The tweeter has been replaced with a Dayton Audio DC25T-8 one inch titanium tweeter to accentuate the high frequencies.

The cabinet volume has been increased to get more bass out of the 5" JBL woofers. The woods used in this build are reclaimed Walnut and Reclaimed American Chestnut. Both reclaimed from structures that were built in the late 1800s in the state of West Virginia. So everything about this speakers is reclaimed and with the exception of the tweeters made in the USA.
