Chessboard made from Reclaimed Walnut and Maple

$300.00

This is a one of a kind chessboard made from reclaimed Walnut and Maple that looks stunning in person. The squares are 1 7/8 inches with a 1 3/4 inch maple boarder. There is a small walnut trim that goes around the entire playing area that came from a New England Church organ that was dismantled recently. The church was from the 1800s. The squares were reclaimed from an early 1900s house in Iowa.

The board measures 19 1/4 X 19 1/4 X1 1/2 inches. and has handles cut into the sides.

I have finished this with a food grade oil just in case you want to use this as a giant cutting board.

This was my first chessboard so there were some minor flaws which I won't state but are visible in the included pictures. As a result I am offering to at a reduced price.
